The trees are a’ bend in the Autumn wind
while their leaves are all a’scatter -
The last on the limbs, still clingin’ to them;
red, yellow and orange all a’splatter.

If I had to chose another place to live it would be Florida. I don't do winters well. The only bad thing about that would be having to live with all of those people who can afford to come and share your mild winters. Best of luck in the contest.
Sincerely,
Leo Long
ps. This middle rhyme at it's best.

I am not a winter person at all, so, I agree, I might like Florida in wintertime...thank you so much for this entry, I really enjoyed the second stanza
