Dreaming

Memories flow through silence
Threading consciousness
Whispers of the past
Echoing
Through a cavernous mind
Sleep falls gently
Transforming
Reality into dream
Lost in subconcious moments
Reliving the hours
Left helpless to the night's illusions
Limbs thrash
Hoping to shatter the living visions
But the only relief
Lies in the dawn's slow rising

Your poem is amazing. It's a simple read but immensely intriguing.

    "Through a cavernous mind
    Sleep falls gently
    Transforming
    Reality into dream"

Quite possibly my favorite lines of this piece. Wonderfully done, dear poet.

Thank you for entering and all the best in the contest!
    Happy New Year!

    Good

Easy reading and a good flow. I like "Whispers of the past Echoing" Dreams do have echos of the past. Enjoyed reading it.
