lips fold to halt
hated acquiesce to your damned desire
to hold me forever in mouth memory
of stone-rolling

"lips fold to halt"
What a great beginning to an intense piece, my Friend. Good luck in Renee's contest, Sweetie.

This is intense. I love the language usage and the message that is conveyed. It is easier to say yes even when we are sure the answer is no. Sometimes the "no" can leave us with a mouth full of stones. An excellent entry here poet. Great imagery!
A wonderful take on the prompt here Poet. You followed all the rules to the letter. Thank you for this entry in my contest. I wish you the best in all your endeavors.
Much Love & Respect ♥

ty, pen friend... I am struggling but wonder, sometimes, if acceptance is the way to go..accept and let go of the struggle to spit those danged stones out...they say it helps media personelle to speak more precisely if they speak aroudn those stones in their mouths.
