Trace

She whispers no
shakes her body yes
screams forced entry

Why'd she smile if
she didn't want me?
Fucking slut.

I wrote a poem like this once, it wasn't as short as this and it was more graphic and detailed .. um, well, maybe not like this but same storyline .. well, basic storyline.

This is a harsh poem...and it makes me feel so sorry for the woman...and yet this happens to so many people...well written, you didn't use words to hide the actual meaning, you just told it. Well done

Oh! This is blunt! Rape is rape when the body says yes but the vocal chords ring a resounding no. I can understand your sentiments but if she says; "no" it's NO. The smile has absolutely nothing whatsoever to do with the sex act. You went way far with the prompt. Maybe she should have never allowed herself to be placed in such a position but I take the woman's side always in this situation. Can't help it, been there done that, and am grateful that my end was not abusive.

A wonderful take on the prompt here Poet. You followed all the rules to the letter. Thank you for this entry in my contest. I wish you the best in all your endeavors.

    Much Love & Respect ♥

I'm completely on your side with this- and I'm a woman. No always means no. Just thought I'd throw something different into the contest and shake things up a bit. This is the first thing that popped into my head.
