Bravo!!!
That was great! Made me laugh and very relatable. I've been in writer's block hell for about a year. -

Thanks for the nice words.
I am just emerging from the block. It's not all good stuff (most of it goes in the bin) but I think if I write enough then something will be readable

What you have written already is a beautiful poem short and sweet..thanks for the treat.move your pen, think and then, write the poem, read your thoughts...you know the melody, you know the art.

Thanks Ahkham.
With such a right word allocation and a given theme I was unsure about this but it seemed to work.
I am glad you liked it and, having read many of your comments on OP, I appreciate your words here.

LOL I love this? You read my mind! I usually get this way each time I enter a contest. I love that you used the prompt as a way to express the anxiety that we sometimes feel regarding the contests on AP. An excellent entry. You made me chuckle. LOL
A wonderful take on the prompt here Poet. You followed all the rules to the letter. Thank you for this entry in my contest. I wish you the best in all your endeavors.
Much Love & Respect ♥

Your contest description , more or less wroye the poem for me Renee and the apostrophe helped the word count nudge under the bar.

It was good to catch one of your contests in good tome for a change.
Jim
BTW Thanks for the HM

I went to your author page and discovered that you don't enter many contests. I am honored that you chose mine to write this wonderfully witty poem for.
I've got to get over to our sister site soon. I recently bought three new books. The Collective works of Paul Laurence Dunbar, Countee Cullen, and Langston Hughes.
I can't wait to post poems that are not already posted.
Much Love & Respect ♥
