USA...The Proud Eagle

If I could be a bird...

I would choose to be a Bald Eagle

Proud to be the symbol of America

I would use my strong, small body

and spread my seven foot wings

Catching rising air thermals I would

spiral to amazing heights like never before

Fly to enemy territory and represent

our country and our freedom

to go and be whom we choose

The enemy would fear the power,

swiftness and deadly precision of this

emerging nation once again

Using my unique mix of power, beauty

and skill. I would be the most impressive

bird in the world...

The appearance of this magnificent bird

is known by the shield of black feathers

white head and tail, hooked beak and talons

along with keen eyesight seeing great distance

Being the symbol of military and political

power of this great nation...

My picture is seen on the great seal

of this United States of America...

The eagle is a great bird and awesome to see. I have never seen one but they say it is quite a sight. Good write.

Well, this is a written with a bit different point of view. This is such a great wish and I can understand how important could be to represent a nation. I found here good descriptions and feelings for this nice and unique bird. It would be nice to fly this way, just to show the possible power and nature beauty.
