there used to be a time,
where i though that me and my freinds
would always stand together
i realise now that we drifted,
as the got on with their lives..
they left me behind
so as i struggle with my life,
they dont notice any more,
but its not their fault.
they just made a choice to grow up,
and i'm just not ready to let go
i just hope they know that i love them

This is a bit juvenile, but i see where you're coming from. Thanks for the effort, I can see how this fits into my contest, but i wanted something more sophissticated and deep.
