While I am sitting up from my couch,
I feel someone drag me back,
they tug and they pull at my pants,
but I find out no one's there!
I fall over, gripping my pants,
strum my fingers through my hair,
but the fact that no one was there,
now, that was the scare...
I walk away from the living room,
and pace the kitchen floor.
No one was here except for me,
but don't forget what for.
I had been sleeping deeply,
and they crept in on me,
taken my entire fucking family,
and I'd watched them bleed.
For a couple minutes, I ponder,
then for a few more, I wonder.
I think about their afterlife,
and how they were somewhere better.
I now must conquer my fear,
and search for their killers.

This is great! It's quite an eerie feeling to know
that something like this has happened or is happening to you. Something that I think many of us fear in our lives. I love the suspense that you wrote this with.

This write,would have one believing it was real, but perhaps not..You create suspense in the progression of the story.This is an unusual and quite horrifying story, leaving you with what you are going to do, and how to deal with the horrors...You have such potential in writing..If this is a fictional story, you certainly have the gift in this area,in poetry and short story writing....Excellent!
