The days go by so fast, makes me wonder why?
The spin of things keep rolling by;
Like a tumble weed on a windy, dusty,
Grey, toned desert.
As the child, be but 7
She hugs her Grandmother,
The biggest of tears rolled off her cheek,
Thinking that she will never see her poppa again.
God wanted him now and set him free,
Just look across the desert there I'll be.
Please tell me what you think

Just look across the desert and there I'll be. The loss of a parent is hard enough on a child to phatom why! Lovely poem...~Sie

Very tender, and sweet. It is so sad for anyone to have to deal with a death to a loved one, but for a child that doesn't understand is heartbreaking. Nice job!
