A new shiny coffin, no life within,
Empty body, his soul left him.
Like he had been attracted
by something better, done with this world, to us
gone forever.
We are the greater species, we control everything,
But time, great minds always thinking.
We can only observe what is already lost,
His only proof of existence standing eyes to ground,
Distended, shallow ,filled with hate, sweet bitter drops.
We believe there is one, within all child’s hearts, we all live to meet,
Yet cry when someone departs.
We are all just fragments, attracted to the magnet in the sky, its force always pulling, no-one knows when it is their time.
When the box is lowered screams take over the sobs. But why so much emotion, for just a box.? If only they could see, they are mourning him from below, look up to where he is free, don’t cry for him, know.
His soul is not down that hole.
