In a smoke clouded bar
I saw you and knew in an instant
That we were destined to be
Rainbows and skittles
Flowed off of your every move
And chain smoking was the greatest of all
An exchange of scars and polite words
And I was hooked, feeding off of you
A leech for all time
And you were the "guy"
But my reality was shattered before we ever met
For fate played a curve ball on my life
And chocolate ice cream
Dotted the star struck table cloth
And ashes littered the dance floor
A clash of worlds tore us apart
But only for a moment
Then that moment was gone, and I fond us
Locked in arms once again
Yet I find us trapped in a secret
That no one must know
Chains, and straps mark the presence of a new begining
And fingertips show the ending of the past
I know I will never hold you
In true loves embrace
And maybe my heart has stopped yearning
But envious eyes play upon you and your charade
Mocking your existance
Dropping it like its hot
Was a vagueness we knew to well
And poked extremities left laughter on air
So I walk by your side
Forever encompassd by your smile
And will stay there, walking, moving
Living in your secret reality
I play hooker and you play wrench
Thats how the story goes

this was interesting! you've got some real good imagery
though some of the flow is broken up with 'and'.
still, its somewhat a hard subject to portray. you did a fine job.

o-o I got a bit confused...because you randomly were like...ice cream...I want ice cream...I like it though...:3

I like your thought process and the creativity of your talent. This is really good and posesses so much imagery! Fantastic writing indeed

This is a really great write. Such infatuations happen to all of us(me included), and increasingly more often, apparently, as we get older.
