Do you remember the days
When we used to laugh and play
When the world was fun
And our hearts were young?
When stories were real
And the stars were in our eyes
Nothing was out of reach
We could look up and touch the sky?
Do you remember the colors
The richness of life
When nothing was wicked
Except to tell a lie?
Do you remember the sunrise
Or the tent in the backyard
When boys didn't matter
And our hearts were not hard?
Do you remember the characters
The hours we would play
The shower in the closet
When nights turned into day?
Do you remember
When life was seen through young eyes
It was a different would then
But, I will never forget those times.

This is to my girls, my playmates, my sounding boards, my anynight, anywhere, anytime friends. We have come a long way and we have a long way to go. I am glad that I get to travel this road with you. I love you.

    Awe, girl, this is so sweet. I love you so much and I'm glad that you are my friend. I wish that I could have grown up with you but I have really enjoyed the years that we have been friends and I would not give them up for anything in the world.

    We HAVE come a long way and we still have such a long way to go. I don't regret a moment we shared and I will forever be thankful that God saw it fit to place us in each other's lives. I remember those days so well and I will never, nor could I if I tried, to forget those countless hours we spent together. Yes, now we're all growing up and entering into a new stage in our lives. We're no longer little girls, but "little women" as it may be. I am so excited to enter into this next part with my girls by my side and I know that I will never be so proud as I will the day I watch you walk down the aisle. I love you and I always will.
