Blame

I love to be blamed
About something I have no control,
Trust in someone who Shall not be named,
Someone who I thought would console.

How could you smile and stab me in the back,
And blame me for you going off-track?
True friends are there though good and bad,
Not just around like some cheap fad.

Thought I was doing good for something,
But you turned it to nothing.
Pure and defenseless, now all alone,
For this do you think you could ever atone?

To be told one was out and one was in,
How could you commit the sin,
Of breaking my heart,
And casting my apart.

For someone that uses you,
And casts truth askew,
I never knew,
But you didn't care, did you?

It's time for me to go away,
There's nothing more for me to say.
It's time for me to escape the blame,
And get away from this fucked up game.

This time it's goodbye forever,
These ties I shall now sever.

Author notes

I collaberated this piece with my Bro. His thoughts and my help in wording and rhyme.

Yeah constantly being blamed kind of sucks...well not kind of...IT DOES. I mean then you try and try to tell the person different and sometimes they don't want to hear it. Its like what the hell else can you do????? I love this, Excellent.

    Very good!

I appreciated this work very much. It is so hard to go through betrayal and usury, you have captured that well in this write. Lots of emotion and pain but leaves one with a feeling of victory and strength in the end. Well done and great first piece!
    Bravo!
