Our gaze
hushes the stars
and spins circles
around the midnight moon
in aura of adoration
reflecting in pond
pools of endless possibility
as whispers
meet in beauty's breath
tracing our thoughts
as they melt into one.
When did you dance into my dreams
slipping past my perception?
Now, I find you here in feather
floating inside of me
in pieces of unfinished poetry
spilling into storm;
the wonder seen in sunsets
swept up and sprinkled
upon our silhouettes
raining in plush of petals
gracefully gathered
in the shape of a heart.
