Destination future,
Pursuit in happiness.
Are we lost,
Me beside you?
Eyeless we are-
Were we thoughtless?
Love is blind,
Innate is death,
But together we are immortal.
Death is innate,
Blind is love,
Thoughtless we were...
Are we eyeless,
You beside me?
Lost we are,
Happiness in pursuit-
Future destination.

My first palindrome...a poem read identically backward as forward...was pretty hard to do...

Intimidating...and it works well as either a tour de force or a serious poem. Well done.

This is amazing. What a difficult form of poetry to write and you do so well. Not only is it a great poem that it's a palindrome, but it's also very thought provoking and makes me think about life as far as where life takes people. Hope you keep writing these types of poems. I'll keep reading.
