you know when someone isn't listening?
and they can't bring themselves to admit that they might have done something wrong, so they have to deflect it somehow...
or... when they think that you're doing something that doesn't involve them and they believe that you're doing it for reasons that are other than what they are, in order to get _their_ attention?
this poem is for all those moments...

well i have been in many situations where it hasn't been about me OR the other person, it involves someone totally different so it needs to be handled accordingly

As far as your one liner goes.... It VERY true! I do think there are quite a few people who take anything and everything said to relate to something it doesn't~
