You HAVE made a sacred footprint upon so many hearts, my Sister. This is gorgeous, Sweetie. Did I ever tell ya, I wanted to play drums in school??? At the time, no girls were playing drums. Until the next year, after my parents told me no. My brother played them ~ snare in the marching band, a trap set & also tympani in the orchestra. Ehhh, it's probably just as well. I ain't 'xactly got rhythm. Such a soulful song you sing, such a radiant rhythm you embrace. Good luck in David's contest, my Friend. Wanda

A sacred beating of the heart that should be chanted at the edge of a mountain with the sun about to rise at dawn. Oh so beautiful and holy Carol . . .

A very unique and powerful way to allow us the sharing of this sacred vision. You can see the beats in each line, and feel the words speak to you. A very strong entry in its own right. well done.

ty, Mike...isn't it amazing that I can not write a sonnet for the life of me and catch that rhythm? I can't you know..I have to drum it out.

This is beautiful. Thank you for emphasizing it this way, so the reader can feel the rhythm of the drum.
This is a universal prayer, I think.
