You see me from the outside
The inside holds my whole heart
Learn what you can from my pages, so full
Before I fall apart
First I'll lose my spine
Then I'll rip at the seams
I'll fall apart little by little
But you can't hear my silent screams
My pleadings sprawled from page to page
Try to figure me out
I'll keep it all black and white for you
In over-sized fonts so you hear my shout
Read through my story
To find the meaning beneath
If you find the hidden sarcasm
You'll see what it's like underneath
Outside I look somewhat tough
But the inside holds my whole heart
Learn what you can from my pages, so full
Before I fall apart.
Author notes
I know, odd right? I guess we're all like books. Some are harder, some more popular. But most don't look past the cover that's shone. Maybe that isn't what we're like underneath.

Wonderfully done! I think you did an excellent job here and I am very impressed by the metaphor/reality of the font. Impressive!

Wow. That was amazing. Mind if I add you to my favorites?

This is really good. I agree that we are all like books in some way or another, and I also agree that this peice is good!

I like this, it just proves the old saying true
"don't judge a book by its cover"
