The Sea

The soaring sea gulls over head cry amongst
themselves as they circle above. The clear blue
sky reflecting against the surface of the sea
as a new day begins. The sounds of laughter
and joy as people rush into the ocean with large splashes.

The crashing of waves against the shore with a deafening hiss as the grainy sand is hit taking away all evidence of footprint
left behind by those splashing in the sea. A roaring shush is heard as the waves were dragged back into the sea. The sun
above beating down upon the sea just as it beat against the shore.

Attempting to heat the cool water only failing to do so
as a silent wind rolled in pushing against the palm
trees causing them to dance where they stood. Off the shoreline
a family of dolphins broke through the surface of the sea
to plunge back into it's cool embrace. The sea gulls over head
dive-bombed to the surface of the sea as they caught
sight of their slippery prey.

A stillness soon follows as the day slowly
came to an end and the once blue-green ocean
shifted to red-orange to blue-purple till pitch black with
only the light of the crescent moon to reflect off the blacken water. A peaceful stillness falls over the ocean as the soothing
waves caress it's darkened shoreline.
