She was every boy's dream girl,
a cartoon before her time,
more for men than children,
thankfully we kids didn't know.
She can't hold up to anime',
but she had her curves and flair,
Betty sang and danced
in her flimsy, skin-tight clothes.
A scandal she would have been,
but somehow she escaped
the cutting room floor,
perhaps because of who she was.
She was Betty,
and perhaps she had made her point
on the casting couch
in a grand office
as she sang "Boop-boop-a-doop."
So Betty had her way,
and sat on her golden throne
as the queen of the cartoon screen--
until Jessica Rabbit came to town.
