snow on the TV always used to scare me because it was so much louder than the shows themselves. i cant see very well so that made it worse when i was younger and didnt know what it was.
The prompt was the early days of TV

    Nice Haiku

    You have penned a great haiku on black and white TV. I too would hate that loud sound when the snow would come on the screen. Still hate it when the cable goes off suddenly. You take care, Sandy

    First off, I have to say I really liked your "preview" to this haiku. Thank goodness the AP problems displaying the whole three-lines of haiku as previews has been fixed!

    I remember more than once when my father had the aerial set up in the attic space, he'd crawl up there to jiggle the antenna until the picture cleared. Now the only "snow" I ever experience is during a storm when the Direct TV goes out--Which is a lot better than jiggling TV antennas I suppose!

    Lol. Kind've funny to imagine "snow scares us all" I remember the little boy I babysit was so scared at the age of 2 from snow. He wouldnt go near it. Even those this poem is about tv snow, I think it captures his fear very well.

    I know what dealing with tv snow is like.
    I think everyone does. lol.
    It is annoying, and was a little scary at times.
    After reading your auther note, I reread your poem, and it kind of made me giggle thinking about little ones complaining about the TV snow. lol.
