Waiting for the cloudy skies to clear
And a new hope to scatter itself
Among my long lost remains
In the darkness I smile
Wondering about what life really holds
In this silence the tiredness fades
And gentle words soothe my soul
Lying beside this beautiful soul
Makes me want to give them the world
But how can I do that
When I barely know who I am
Starry nights breathing into my hair
As the world becomes a blurry scar
Embedded into my head
Tens of thousands of smiling faces
Not one of them are known to me
How can I give you the world on a platter
When I myself barely know
Who I am
Icicles of glass shattering
All around us though the night
Fragments of such sadness
Torment us all the time
But my dear I will hold you close
And protect you from the torments
The forces us into
Close your eyes and hope with me
Wait for the stars to become
But a blurry scar
On your beautifully made skin
Lie with me tonight
And do not miss me when I slip to the floor
I just need to find myself
Among the shards of glass and fragments of sadness
Author notes
dunno. i know who i am now, but i didn't before.
