Bruised and cut along my limbs?
Am I the girl that lives childhood
Pushed aside, outcast at best?

Am I the woman that's tortured at night
By the should've been and would'ves?
Am I the woman that won the fight
And has become a widow?

Am I the one who through my life,
Has been apart from others?
Am I the one who through your life,
Has been there all along?
