Victory of King Oh Henry

Missing image
The reign to rule Candy Land begins
Between two Royal Families
King Oh Henry and Queen Baby Ruth
King Oh Henry was a gentle sweet tasting man
While Queen Baby Ruth was ruthless and a bit nutty

The King had his faithful Three Musketeers in his palace
While the Queen had the evil Skittles and fears Kit Kat’s
Gathering her army for the war advised by Abea-Zaba
Her evil wizard from the village of Twix

General Zero arrived at the palace informing the King
His Jolly Rancher troops were ready
As the Tootie Rolls sound off their bugles in hand
Alerting the Jolly Ranchers to prepare for battle

The Queens Snickers are attacking from behind
Cannons fired Malt Balls with a flaming Cinnamon Sticks
As the Lemon Heads guard the gates with Choc Sticks

The M&M’s joined the Snickers attack
With Bright Chocolate colors bombarding the Palace

Lafy Tafty patrol springs into action summoning
The Gummy Bears as they mounted the Gummy Worms
with their Rolo’s in hand, attacking the M&M‘s
Crushing them to Bits and Pieces

It was a Heart crunch site, Snickers laying on the ground
with Cinnamon Stick deep into their nutty bodies.
Then the evil Skittles rode the Fear Kit Kat's
Skittles Killing Gummy Bears
Kit Kat's eating Gummy Worms

It's a really sticky situation,
Not meant for Candy lovers eyes

The battle continues till the Three Musketeers came to the rescue
Killing the Skittles as they slay their brilliant colors
Breaking the Kit Kat’s into two pieces

As Mr Good Bar come out to announce the Victory
The battle ends with an Almond Joy
The Royal Twizzlers Knights arrive Just in time
For the celebration and to clean up the Brightly Chocolate Massacre

As the Baby Raisinets play joyful in the court yard
The Lady Lolly Pops dance with the Big Hunks

King Oh Henry Proclaims a day of celebration
For we are the sweetest Candy Land around
As he hugs his Sons Junior Mints
And his Queen Charleston Chew

They join in the Celebration handing out Dollar Bars
To the Heros as they receive their Pay Day

    A bit corny;

you had to be on something when you wrote this one - WHATEVER IT WAS, I WANT IT! LOL! This is the best piece of light humor I've crossed paths with in poetry for sometime. I thought it was hysterical - it actually made me smile, and that's hard to do these days. Congrats on the wins!

    OMG Awesome!!

I loved this! It is by far the best I've read in a while, so epic but so playful too, how candies have a war is pandemic for the stomach, it made me laugh and smile despite your crying faces but those only added more humor lol

LOL! This was an awesome poem! You've got all the greats in there, with their own personalities and 'flavors' to them. It really does read like a fantasy story, and the best kind of fantasy store as well, a TASTY kind! This whole poem made me giggle as I discovered all the new twists and turns you put into it. You must be a wonderfully creative person to have found a way to use all these references in one long epic poem. It's fantastic. Bravo on a poem that has become my favorite so quickly
