Sharing the wine we've savaged of the blood of our equal veins
A deep friendship like this is unstoppable.
I, an angel,
You, a beautiful torn manequin
Darkness is so beautiful on you.
I note the fragile glance of fear in your eyes so full of smoke
What horror could you ever imagine?
My dear don't you know they could never silence us?
I know you are forbidden in His sanctuary,
It would bring a pain you could never endure
The incense and candles would burn your fragile skin.
We both know you are a beautiful fallen angel.
How cold is it in the world you were banned to?
Let my love melt the ice you have been sent to dwell in.
I will always be your friend.
For I will always have your back.

Lovely job on this. I like how you broke the stanzas and made it easier for the reader to follow. The flow of this is absolutely dashing and I like how it goes well with the picture. Thanks for entering. Keep up the good work and best of luck to you in the contest.

Well done. I cant write well if I try to write using certain words or from contest themes, I have to wait to be inspired or else the poem I write will be forced and majorly suck.
This however was awesome, I was enjoying it immensely before even realizing it was from a word bank. My favorite part was describing this fallen individual as a " beautiful torn manequin
Darkness is so beautiful on you."
I love beauty when beauty is found in things that wouldn't normally be taken as being beautiful. Well done. =)
Thanks for your comment on my poem.
