lying here covered starry blanket of silken thread
conducting wind gracefully uplifts my dull soul
shooting stars beam, blaze across the skies
bare arms lift towards the sun, breeze kisses
calming water cools heated veins feed my mind
aromatic lifts in clouds dusk, shimmering silver
reflecting shadows walk the emerald threads.

I really liked this poem. It was wonderfully descriptive. I really liked the line:
"conducting wind gracefully uplifts my dull soul"
I always feel like that when I'm caught in the wind. I always feel so uplifted and free.
Why didn't I love the poem? Sometimes/all of the time I can be a stickler for grammer and it was just one really long run on sentence T_T.
Good job!!

Wow, this is awesome! I love the use of nature. The only issue I had, it goes from night to day and back and forth. But it's beautiful! Thank you for entering my contest!
