A day in the clouds

If you were given a day
Only you’d have the say
Whatever wished to be true
No longer they’re drools

The wildest dreams ever had
The hardest goals never met
Every frivolous thought imagined
Albeit they call it temptation

Fanciful moments would become real
Dying hearts would rebound to squeal
Would you tell the world?
The very dream wished to excel

This is my day in the clouds
Thinking out loud….
If you were given such a day
Would that make you brave?

Amazing . .

What an amazing piece of writing – you excel yourself each time I visit your page – never stop writing . . or dreaming.

I think we are all distressed by inevitable and unenviable moments such as these -

To make changes, break the circles of consequences of a life . . that is often dealt us in the wrong sequence – the “ if only’s” of our lives . . . hidden in the clouds of despondency that sweep over most people throughout their imperfect lives.
