Virgin (Cinquain round)

Missing image

Virgin
brought forth a son
foretold by the prophets
though never touched by a man she
conceived

conceived
by God's power
when she was found pregnant
no one else believed her except
Joseph

Joseph
believed the Lord
married her anyway
for in her womb she carried man's
Savior

Savior
the sinless one
the Son of the most high
He came forth to be born of a
virgin

I like the word, the poem, and the background. I love the subject of the write. A very tender piece, and I would love read it in a softer form.

You have captured the birth of Christ so beautifully. Lovely imagery. So nice to read this morning. So nice when people believe in each other and don't judge one another. Great cinquain chain. Take care, Many Blessings. Sandy
