me

i looked into the glass
and reflected did i see

a woman who has been
worn by adversity

still she smiles at passersby
spark is still in her eye

things are ok and i'm alright
i still sleep in peace at night

For in my life are few regrets
though being nice can be a test

but humor always can be found
in any test that comes around

a little wicked i can be
(well alot...in my head you see)

but tempests never last to long
green-eyed lady is a song
that describes me fairly well
and so that's all i will tell!

Wonderful consideration of self examination. To look into your soul and be content is a blessing indeed. This seemed to go back and forth from serious to whimsical... an enjoyable read.

    very nice

This is only a slice of the woman you are ...so much more than just this, though it does describe whom I've come to know. I love you as always, but you will never be just you! The Shaker
