I know I should
I really should
But now is just not the time
I've so much else to do
Other important things to do
This just cannot cross my mind
It will still be there later
I can do it so much later
Just pile it on my desk with the others
But no
Not there
That pile is next to be done
And No
Not there
Those are due tomorrow
Here
Here's a spot
And I'll get it done
Later

I was going to comment on the winning pieces in this contest yesterday, but, well, I couldn't be bothered, just decided.."Tomorrow will do!"
This piece really does get to the truth of the matter for the prompt and is very easy to relate to.
Good write and congrats on bronze.

Well, now you have two or more comments. I have started over with all of the entries by reading them again and didn't realize I made a comment on this one already(lol)!

Later...yes, I too will do it later. Oh wait, I don't even have a spot for that to go in. I can't add it to the twelve different stacks I have now for all of them have been prioritized to be done at a Later date. So what do I do with it? Guess I can start a new stack in a different room/office(lol). Great entry! I want to thank you for entering my "The Procrastination Station" contest.

Well done!
Great little poem, something I can relate to daily..lol. Good luck! -
I'm laughing so hard for I have different piles of stuff that needs to be done and when I think I'm about to get one accomplished, another one begins before I get the other done. It's like rabbits multiplying! Then there is a moment when I say enough is enough and I just concentrate on working down the piles of stuff that needs to be done. When all is over, I normally only have half to do another time(lol). I want to thank you for entering my "The Procrastination Station" contest.

Ahhh, one of my oldest mates... Procrastination. We go WAY back. I know all the tricks, justifications, good excuses and every reason known to man to put it off... I'll tell you all about it...Later.
