I remember all these shows when then were airing on prime-time TV at the time, Deb, and it's a lot of nice memories this haiku-chain evoked. The old Timmy and Lassie and collie-dogs are still my favorite--According to my Mom, my first word as a baby in the high-chair was "Lassie," which I pronounced "Assie!"

It's better to tell these stories on yourself than to have your Mom spring it on you unexpectedly. Isn't it wonderful that Jon Provost a.k.a. Timmy Martin went on to become a philanthropist and the main support of Canine Companions for Independence? Who says all child stars end up in Rehab?
