Hooded veil conceal my eyes
Strolling flagrant through fresh dew.
Downtrodden spirit, deed's unknown
Menacing the dark lit gloom.
Harrowed vision of futures end
Damp wool cloak chilling the bone.
Fire encroaching depressions domain
Mounting assault hidden but known.
Fleeting glance at day break rays
Asleep I fall humbled and shamed.
Fixed mind spurning hope and fate
This shattered exsistance I feign.
Everyday a new light breaks
Chance to mend past mistakes.
Author notes
I think we can all relate to the daybreak wanderer.
