I know a girl
who's way too small
to really pack a punch.
But go ahead and try her nerves.
She'll leave you in the dust.
She'll stare you down
with eyes like knives
that still remain serene.
Those peaceful eyes that break you down
and snicker, while your's sting.
Her words like bullets to the head
that knock you off you're feet.
The harsh, yet gentle threats escape
between subtle, sneering, teeth.
And all at once
that midnight hair
atop the Devil's twin
will slice the air with triumph
as she leaves you there,
Broken.
Author notes
she'll never need weapons, that's for sure. ; )

I thought this was a really cool and great write. I thought you really expressed how the character is INDEPENDENT and COOL.
I wish you the best of luck in my contest, because it will be luck if you get a trophy, because I am sometimes in different moods. -
Makes me want to go defend someone! RAWR!
Awesome.

As a 5 footer who can't hurt a teddy bear, I adore this! What does being a shrimp have to do with nerves, intellect or determination? Nothing as you've stated so well. Kudos to you!
