Fatigued heart
obeys finality,
licking the dust
of silent surrender;
moments drift into
fragrant winds,
inhaling distant
memories-
Soothed spirit
retraces foot steps,
guiding death to
peaceful shore;
allowing time to
whisper love into
ears of sorrow,
humming tunes of
passionate grace-
One last "I love you"
hangs in heavy atmosphere,
spilling as tears into
chalise of pain;
eternal life opens
door,
breathing vibrancy
into withered soul
