Is a mere mist of darkness
As dying eyes closed to explore the depth of solace
One dreams in a sleep, never-ending
As the breathing slows and the heart falters, ending

Promising to share our finality
I smiled and whispered ~ my Love

As our quivering lips embraced
I tasted and sucked harder with sweet desire
Living a moment longer
To savour one last breath
Eternally unfinished
Even at the end
