Why does love hurt?
Why when you start to care
Your torn apart and left alone scared??
Why can’t anything work out?
Why is it when I open my heart after a fall
I just hurt worse, wondering if it was love after all??
Why cant I just for once
Just for once have my feelings returned?
Why can’t I for once be happy
And love without the hurt??
Why can’t he let me in?
It hurts me, that his past hurts him
I want to help
But how when he won’t tell me what is in his heart??
Why am I torn and confused?
When will I understand what to do?
Why does he push me away
When we get to close?
I sit here so confused
Does he care or am I dumb for thinking he does?
And what have I done
To deserve the hurt the past year has held???
Why, why, why???????
Can any one tell me why?

This is about love and the pain that comes with it. This guy i love him. And its scary cuz i dont know how he feels. If we get to close he pushes me away and we start to get really close again and he pushes me away again. Its a cycle that i hope this poem will help break. Now the only question left is do i read it to him???
