Everything happens for a reason
they say
so am I supposed to just believe
I'm going to be okay?

I feel completely drained
so exhausted from the lack of trust
that I strive to be away from home
I'm sick of all the fuss.

You could never understand my pain
so I never talk to you
and than you make the BIGGEST deal
when you know it's so painfully true.

I'm sorry if I make you cry
because I don't want to share my life
but there's no way you could begin to realize
that all it's filled with is strife. 

And he's a whole other story
he doesn't even care
he pushes me aside
totally unaware.

He never talks to me
and even when he does
he causes fights and misery
mostly just because. 

So I'm looking for my way out
a place where I won't need to cry
the place where I'll finally have enough room
to spread my wings and fly.
