~The Power Of Poetry~

Missing image
~Written ~ Never ~ Sent ~ To ~ Any ~ One~

Words have always been the source
Of my ability to express
The emotions in my soul
And loving heart. In truth I confess
The Love Story of my life
Which I sing to you forevermore.
Only the touch of your hand
Would be greater than the dreams before

Let us share this love forever.
We came from the darkest places
Into light of love and life
Where only a fairytale graces.
Yet, reality gives us the love
We have longed for always
And now this moment in time
Embraces all our yesterdays.

None but the bravest of hearts
Could trust their souls such love
Until the day, I met you
I dreamed of you my dove.
In spite of pouring rain
You breathed life into me
The greatest love unfolds
The stuff of history.

I always shall adore you
As only we both know
My song will never end
My love will ever grow
With each drum of my heartbeat
I've never loved like this
Lifetimes slowly come and go
In the passion of your kiss.

Through rain and sunshine's glow
We'll share love eternally.
If you're ever cold in the wind, I'll wrap
My loving wings round thee
Until sleep heats our bodies
That forever entwines us two,
You shall know my love's for always
As the sands in the glass flow through.

And I'll be the quill to etch
Deep within your soul of poetry
The love of a billion years
Carry us both through eternity
It was promised us both
We'll live in the milky lands of youth
As it's written, so shall it be
And my heart has spoken truth

My gentle soul loves your heart
From this world to the promise anew
Where now shall be memories
And death's reunites us two
As we let love complete us
In a circle never-ending
And with each finger's soft caress
Sing love songs all wounds mending

Rest easy now my precious love
For I'll cherish every moment
Live and breathe each breath my dear
Our love was heaven-sent.
As we spend it now together
Throughout eternity
The strength of love shall ever
Keep me with you and you with me.

    There is endless and deep beauty in your soul that reflects powerfull in your poetry and the everyday things in life you do. It will get you through the hardships of life, bring you many a true friend and, perhaps most important of all, you will make the great spirits of the universe dance for joy. Awareness and true friends is all we really own - it makes of you one of the richest souls in the world. I love you for being you and feel privileged to have met you and be in your heart. Thank you for creating and sharing, precious one, this poetical reflection of your soul. Take care,

    Chris

    Eternal love...now that to me is true love...whether possible or not doesn't matter to me, I like the notion that it can.

    I heard you were having surgery, I wish you a quick recovery, and I'll give you two days to recover, then I'd like some fried chicken if it isn't too much to ask.

    Hi Sharon...

    I haven't been around the huguenauties much lately so I don't think our paths have crossed before, but I read Hugh's poem yesterday and have kept you in my thoughts and prayers all day. I hope when you return home and see this comment that you will be well on your way to a full recovery.

    Your poem is beautiful. It expresses to me the soul of a person with a very loving and gentle nature. I am bookmarking this so I can return again and again to enjoy it.

    Love, good luck and best wishes,
    ~J.

    What a wonderful explaination of a wish to share a love for nature and humanity through the written word.Self expression through the use of the arts is two fold. In that it gives as well as recieves an needed understanding of passions.

    Dear Sharon,

    The inexorable march of Fate in this great symphony,
    Beethoven's mighty Seventh which will always speak to me
    of your undying love which reaches out across the sea;
    of dreams that we might share yet, in this life, may never be.

    But, come what may, whatever our eventual destiny,
    I pray to God that, in His Infinite and Great Mercy,
    He'll stretch His Hand to you and grant your quick recovery
    as you, tomorrow, undergo your vital surgery.

    And, as in Faith I send my prayers across the seas of pain,
    I wait the hour until, Dear One, I hear from you again.
    ~~~
    With best wishes for luck in the voting and, more important, for success in your operation and with love and hugs XXX always, Hugh (R.)
      Dear Hugh,
      Before you can you reach someone you have to show them you love them. Thank you for showing me your warm and precious love. Thank you for love beyond the miles, and the endless time trials. Long ago, I knew someone but now he is gone. Yet, his kindness is here in our universal love song. All the signs said, we are eternal soul mates. Yet, he took his time and the tears of sorrow remain in hesitate. Thou Hast Touched Me. “O taste and see the LORD is good: happy are those who take refuge in him.” Good things come through times of sorrow, Love is shared. Bonds are renewed. Better days are ahead. Thank you for your prayers and blessings my new old friend. You have the power to strengthen FAITH for eternity.~Love and Hugs, Sharon~
      Dear Joan,
      Just to see your precious smiling face gracing my page brings joy to my heart. This is a poem about the ~Power of Poetry~. About a long ago love that we swore for all eternity, we would not forget each other. Even if we both were born oceans apart. We FEEL and deeply appreciate the love in both our eyes. Thank you for your warmth and precious comment my new old friend. All the best to you and yours, ~Love and Hugs, Sharon~
    Samsara is merely seemingly endless, Nirvana awaits those who progress through pain and grief, clinging to the power of words to bleed the accumulating tension of their emotions. In our darkest hourse we long for Light, in eras without Love we long for warmth and compassion. All of that we shall have, in abundance without end. From sadness we carve beauty with our tears and from desolation joy with the power of Love embedded in our hearts. Thank you for creating and sharing, precious soul and good luck in the contest. May The Light flood you and confort you, always,
    Chris
      Dear Chris,
      When we both are no longer here, the daybreaks and someone will take the time to inscribe our love story for future generations. “Sanskrit; the cyclic existence of birth, death and rebirth from which nirvana provides liberation.” This is our love story, in all its glory. The veil was lifted on both our eyes from the moment of our birth. The pull from the endless wheel of life, still cries out I need you. Even death will not wash away the tears, as we inscribe our hearts for the world to hear. I will remember your precious love for all eternity. My love is devoted to kindness warmth compassion within the Light and Hands of the Lord. Thank you for this beautiful comment Chris, you give your love unconditionally. All the best to you and yours, ~Love and Hugs, Sharon~
