Watch the blue eyes of the morning sky
gaze as they are my servants
Like sweet blessed seeds that
graze above summer’s copious palm
Shining cool covered sparrows to rush
is a kiss from my love for you
The radiance that dances its way
upon the pleasurable sunbeam
In a spray of harmony pool
with all of life’s tranquility
Climbs the special stars that comes
out during the morning time
My gift of you is within the magic
your love sent the wondrous power
Where I created myself to end
your dreams with the dream of me
I carry you in my heart
I sent my lasting touch to dry
the tears within that very sun above you
As you could not find one single shade
Straining your eyes but what you made
were of many floras scents
Stunning your breathe you continued
to create it as you had not a single idea
The beat of my heart I delivered it
into the sounds of the nearby sea
So you can hear the calming feelings
that your love made upon me
I love you so I brought
myself where you shall go
Though I can not be in your presence
everyday and every night
My love will be with you
with you wherever you shall be
The shadow you see behind you
is of me walking behind your steps
As the roads and grass becomes
the pathway of my safe love to you
The silence of the unbreathable evening air
is my mediation of you
Thinking about how you ever came
into my life speaks in such a whisper
So I try to listen to thy every moment
we shared and those happiness
And though my world is now only
of grieving anger and heartache
All the loveliness I had I give it upon you
My sweet and kindness can never
leave the enjoying sensations
Though I find you offer me not one single thing
But I carry you still in my heart
Upon the shores of my heart
will forever float your worthy heart?
So I know that one can
never leave without the other
I like to think that I still
have your heart knowing that I don’t
but I still say oh my only love,
I still carry you sweetly in my heart
like the sweet vine that sends
her goodness down the lands
I still carry you in my heart
If not then my heart still carries you
and so does my memories
So continue to be blessed
with all my sending rosy gifts
Knowing that you are pleased
and loved must be making me live
Enjoy the gentle coming of
all of the beauty I wrote
As I missed around with fire
and light to make such magic for your eyes

This is actually quite breath taking! I love the third stanza in this poem! "The shadow you see behind you
is of me walking behind your steps" I have to say i loved this part the most! It gives it a magical feel as well as showing your intense feelings for the person!

I still carry you in my heart
If not then my heart still carries you
and so does my memories
memories are special and they can carry the tender feelings forever -
very serene and some great word choices and descriptions throughout. i enjoyed seeing how the line 'i carry your heart with me' inspired and worked into your piece, and how it differs from the poem i borrowed it from (e.e. cumming's 'i carry your heart with me (i carry it in my heart').
i think with some editing this could be a very polished piece. keep up the writing and thank you for entering the contest <3 -
