yes- you are absolutely right. the line of the poem -my spot- is reserved just for you. it is not "the spot", for all and everyone, it's "my spot" and with leaving it open-ended, it will always be your spot. the earth desires and implores you to have your spot. the earth gave that spot just for you & that spot will not be given to anyone else, ever.
