Waves crashing
rolling like thunder
Troubled mind lost
in a sea of confusion
Memories invade
with the rising tide
Insanity on the brink
sinking deeper into the abyss
As the waters slowly recede
everything is washed anew
New life before me
inner peace on the horizon

I hope this is alright. I try each day to overcome my past demons, hoping at the end of each day that I will find some inner peace. I keep waiting for this day to come.
