I know that
This monster is there.
I can sense her
Always with me.
I can tell that
She's the evilest
Of demons,
That she feeds
On anger and hate.
I don't know
Why she chose me,
But here she is,
And here am I,
Both together,
And never apart.
I am always
Polite and say
My manners,
But then she comes
And makes me
Appear as this
Monstrous thing.
I know that
We will stay
With each other
No matter where we go;
We will always be
With one another,
And this I cannot change.
She's there when
I sleep and when I dream;
She's with me at meals
And even at school;
She's always there,
And I know that
When I gaze into
This glass that
Cannot lie,
I will see her,
Still there like always,
And yet, all I see is the
Reflection of me.
