    short and precise

Words speak for them self, but the ice becomes the shipmate to hold this ship locked in its arms.
    Congrats

    Shipmates

    Tacking, way lacking,
gains leeway for taking stock -
    thus not attacking

even though it's short and simple, you can derive many different meanings from it if you think about it.

Very interesting. The simplicity is the first thing that strikes me as I stare at this work. The next is the resonance you manage to evoke.

I LIKE IT as I'M A LOVER OF THE SEA!

This would fit nicely into one of my LITTLE STAR BOOKS and inparticular to the fourth one which I'll be working on SOON called MUTINY on 'THE LITTLE STAR". Thanks for sharing this with me - and I hope to see many new pieces from you soon, shipmate! Perhaps you'll let me use it (credited to you, of course) when I finish BOOK THREE in a couple of weeks and a new voyage gets underway!

    Peace & Love!
    Earl
