Essence Of Space And Time

Written By Lisa Morris

The words you wrote to someone else
Are the same you wrote to me
I wondered in my silent pain
"Oh God how can this be!"

Cause I won't change to make you see
The rhythm of my heart
And in the lonely dark of night
The tears begin to start

They fall like the pouring rain
That soaks my lonely bed
And even if I close my eyes
I still see the words you said

For no one in my tortured life
Has ever touched my soul
Like the man that stood before me
And the love that won't let go

So take me for who and what I am
Or else just let me be
Only space will heal my heavy heart
Only time can set me free

And there he stands....Caught in a web from the past. Take caution les' the web will catch you in it's fibers.
This is about as real as it gets.

    excellent

Congrats on the Gold! You express your emotions very well in this poem. The first stanza really hits home, and I think there must be a lot of men that do the same thing. What losers!

    Oh Dear!

I'm sorry Lisa but I see you have your name posted with your entry. It is an anonymous contest I'm afraid. Unfortunately I must remove your poem. Apologies for not noticing sooner.
Best of luck in future contests.

Your words linger within my mind, sometimes I feel this way, though of later more so than ever, such depth and heartfelt sorrow, yet plea's of purerty and emotion, alot of feelings interwoven with each a truely powerful piece.

As to Ap families I really have no clue how that works, or I'd send you the info, being aloner I don't fit much anywhere.

Peace to you always and a wish that life truely gets better full of love and joy

That has to be my favorite part. The ending line is deep for me. What i got out of it was the pain of loving someone so much you know only what they tell you because their words are all you can take into perspective. Very nice poem!
