It is Within

I seen the sun come up just the other day and my smile brightened along with the break of dawn. I watched it all morning long until it sat high above me in which to be considered high noon.

I then saw it start to go down and watched it again as my smile faded into the darkness of which the sun was sinking. After it faded and I gazed upon all the reds; my eyes then turned to the moon.

It was bold and beautiful as the stars glimmered around it and twinkled in my direction. I watched it circle around until my eyes fell heavy with sleep and that was when I found that within is where true beauty lays.

It is kept dormat behind most eyes as a flower garden in the winter before spring arrives. And if not tended at the last break of frost the beauty will not bloom and there would be wasted days.

I came out of my sleep just in time to see the sun rise again, which brought another smile upon my face. I needed not to watch it this time for I found what I had been looking for.

It was within me all this time, the best friend I had been searching for; the light I needed when all was looking dark. I found myself and am pleased with who I am and could not ask for anything more.

Please tell me what you think

EXCELLENT! I loved this work! It speaks volumes, perhaps because I feel it speaks to me, of me. I see beauty all around us in the most simple things. But one can not truly appreciate the beauty surrounding them until they realize it must come from within. Once found it creates and entirely different perspective of the outward view. I especially love the last line: I found myself and am pleased with who I am and could not ask for anything more.
