Why can't I tell him that I love him?
Why can't I tell him that I need him?
Maybe I could whisper it to the wind.
Why can't I tell him he's someone I love?
Why can't I tell him he's the one I love?
Maybe I could send the message by dove.
Why can't I just send the note I wrote?
My heart won't let me do it.
My nerves won't let me stick to it.
My hands won't help me get through it.
But still, I will do it.
The note will not be passed around
from hand to hand to heart to ground.
I will look him in the eye,
and my stomache will soar all the way to the sky.
But my heart will let me do it.
My nerves will let me stick to it.
My hands will help me get through it.
I'll tell him that he's someone. That he's the one,
I love.

i picked 3. one look from you, and i would fall from grace. the way this flows kinda changes a few times thruoghout the poem, but that's why i liked it when i wrote it last night.

The rhyme scheme in this poem is perfect, it flowed amazingly well. I also love how the poem ended in the exact way it started, it really brought the poem to a satisfying close. Fantastic!

Ooooh ! I really liked this. Very strong and alot of emotion, definitely!

I really liked those lines, because at one point I could definitely relate to them. And, plus they speak alot of truth=]

Those, I'd have to say, are my favorite lines ! I loved the "from hand to hand to heart to ground." Absolutely ahmazing.
