I wish we could share eyes,
that I could see the world how you do,
and that you could see with me friend.
Would I learn of the Christian's happiness as he dies,
would you learn to accept everyone like brothers true,
what would happen to us in the end.
I wish we could live under the same skies,
Life is fleeting as the morning dew,
I can't live with differences too large to mend.
I wonder if you want for me,
what I want for you,
because I have to say it hurts me,
it hurts me to see I hate you,
I wonder if I could I could love you,
forget what you feel about me,
but I wish I could know you,
so that one day you could love me.
I feel this weight on me,
Full dreams and an empty life,
Nobody could know the sadness
Behind my Eyes.
You can't break free from your view,
I'm bound to mine as well,
I fight forever, it's nothing new,
Maybe our lives can ring as peace's knell.
