Bow down to him Like he's some kind of god
Kiss his feet
While you wallow in your own self-pity
Barking orders at you like your some kind of dog
He says "Jump" and you quickly respond "How high"
So subservient to him.
So blinded by pain that you don't see yourself
Just a hallow shell of who you used to be
Wasting away with the words "I love you"
No concept of reality, from this illusion
I would rather be on the outside looking in
than on the inside looking out
Missing life’s most outrageous moments
no chance to learn from mistakes
being ostracized for having your own opinion...what a fake.
Sadness fills these hallow words
watching you waste away
Happiness is nothing but an illusion...but pain is supposed to be real?
Time has taken its toll
your emotions are no more, replaced instead by plastic
One day you will be saved...and I will be here to catch you
Wake up from this dream that’s engulfed your world
change is knocking at your door
and it's only a matter of time before you open it.
