A life without love
is an eternal winter
never to see the sun
nor feel the warmth.
A life with love
exhilarates the soul
created to be joined
to another in ecstacy.
A life without love
will never understand heaven
or how a spirit can soar
on wings of devotion.
A life with love
will ignite dormant fires
racing along shores
of eternal crashing oceans
A place of darkness
never to see love's light
a spirit knowing something is missing
just an empty, hollow, soundless shell

A very in-depth work here poet. All that you have expressed in these simply written lines are true. Each stanza could stand alone. Collectively this is a work of word-art. Beautifully written with an emotional edge. I can't imagine this kind of life.
Thank you for this entry in my contest. I wish you the best.
Much LOVE ♥
