if death can smile coldly,
can life make frowns so warm?
can deals be made to calm the waves?
and angels take that stunning storm?
If love can cover me, keep me safe,
can hoping will my soul away?
can my own minds game put me to shame?
and keep my sanity at bay?
And if hate can stare me in the eye,
am i really ever alone?
am i looking through my sightless thoughts,
or am i sifting through the standing stone?
love can cover me
and death can smile.
life can frown
and hate beguile.
hoping takes my soul to flight,
never really alone at night.
im ever sane in this cacoon,
my sightless thoughts are stumbling, swoon.
im free in her eyes once more,
and i dance with angels in that storm...

sometimes you just dont know what to think or feel, but if your lucky theres that one thing or person that your can cling on to, something you always know you love or hate or whatever... you always know how that one thing or person makes you feel...
